Our commitment to financial integrity

TrustCard is committed to maintaining a secure, transparent service and to helping prevent money laundering, terrorist financing, fraud, sanctions evasion and other unlawful activity. We work with regulated card issuers, payment partners and specialist compliance providers to support this commitment.

We may need to take steps before or during your use of TrustCard to meet legal, regulatory and partner requirements. This can include asking for information, reviewing activity or limiting a service where appropriate.

Customer checks and eligibility

Before providing certain services, we may verify information about you and assess whether you are eligible to use TrustCard. The level of verification may depend on the service, your location, transaction patterns and legal requirements.

We may ask you to provide accurate identity, contact, residency or source-of-funds information, and supporting documentation where needed. We may also use trusted third parties to help verify this information.

Ongoing monitoring

We and our partners may monitor account, card and transaction activity to identify unusual patterns or activity that could present a risk. Monitoring is designed to help protect customers, payment networks and the wider financial system.

Where something needs clarification, we may contact you for additional information. Providing timely, accurate responses helps us complete any review as quickly as possible.

Restricted activity

You must not use TrustCard for unlawful purposes or in a way that attempts to bypass applicable controls. This includes activity involving sanctioned persons or jurisdictions, fraud, deception, money laundering, terrorist financing or evasion of legal requirements.

We may decline, delay, suspend or restrict activity where we reasonably believe it is necessary to comply with law, protect the service, or manage risk. We may not always be able to explain the reason for a decision where doing so would conflict with legal or regulatory obligations.

Record keeping and reporting

We retain records for periods required by applicable law and our partners’ compliance obligations. Where required, we or our regulated partners may make reports to relevant authorities. We handle these processes in accordance with applicable legal duties and privacy requirements.
